When you need to secure plain text into a tamper-proof document that displays consistently across devices, our Text to PDF tool converts your inputted text or uploaded .txt files into ISO-standard PDF documents. This tool processes plain text strings or text files by parsing line breaks, paragraphs, and basic structures to generate a printable PDF file that retains the original layout.
What input formats does the Text to PDF tool support?
It only supports plain text content (direct input) and .txt file uploads. Rich text or HTML formats are not supported.
Will the converted PDF keep the original text formatting?
It will preserve line breaks and paragraph structures, but fonts and styles will use standard PDF defaults. Custom fonts are not supported.
We recommend keeping the text content under 100,000 words or 5MB. The conversion result does not retain text colors, fonts, or other styles. For sensitive content, we suggest using the browser-based conversion feature while disconnected from the internet.
When converting code snippets, we recommend adding ``` code block markers before the text to enhance readability. For example, entering "print('Hello World') # Python example" will generate a standard PDF document that preserves indentation and comments, making it ideal for archiving and sharing technical documentation.
