Make a Chinese word practice sheet from your list

Enter Chinese words or short phrases to create a printable handwriting worksheet. Each item is laid out as a model, a light tracing practice group, and blank writing cells according to the group counts you choose. You can set the grid style, paper size, page orientation, cell spacing, guide colors, and whether to show a header.

This generator is designed around Chinese text rather than English letter handwriting. It lays out the characters you provide; it does not translate vocabulary, explain meanings, or verify that a word is spelled correctly. A grid such as Tian Zi Ge (田字格) gives each character a square writing area with cross guides; select the grid that suits your practice.

How the word list is handled

Separate entries with a new line, comma, or semicolon. Extra spaces within an entry are removed, repeated entries are deduplicated, and each entry is limited to six characters. The sheet supports up to 80 distinct entries. Very long input is therefore shortened or omitted from the final layout; review the preview and resulting word count before exporting.

Rows can be set to show a model, tracing groups, or blank groups. When several practice groups appear in one row, separator cells help distinguish them. If the words and chosen groups do not fit the requested cell size across the page, cells are reduced to fit.

From vocabulary list to printable pages

1. Enter or choose words

   Type one Chinese word or phrase per line, or use commas and semicolons between entries. You may start with a preset list and edit it.

2. Choose the practice sequence

   Set how many model, tracing, and blank groups each row should contain. At least one group is needed to make a sheet.

3. Set page and grid options

   Choose a grid, A4, A5, US Letter, or B5 paper, portrait or landscape orientation, and optional title and student information.

4. Generate, inspect, and save

   Generate the pages, check the word and page counts and preview, then download PNG or PDF, print, or export to Word.

Review the page before printing

Printed size and visual clarity depend on the selected paper, printer scaling, and available Chinese fonts. Check that the preview contains the intended words and practice groups, then confirm the print dialog uses the matching paper size and orientation. The worksheet provides repetition space; it does not teach stroke order or assess handwriting correctness.
