Create printable Chinese handwriting worksheets using classic poems or your own text. Customize Tian Zi grid size and layout, then export high-resolution PNG or PDF files.
Shown at the top of every page and editable independently from the poem title. Leave blank to hide it.
The title and author use separate rows. Commas and full stops define poem lines so every complete verse stays on one row without awkward clipping.
The selected number of blank practice rows is inserted after the title, author, and every full-text grid row.

Overview
Understand what the tool solves, how it works, and the boundaries of its data.
This worksheet maker is designed for Chinese poetry and handwriting practice. Choose a built-in classical poem or enter your own title and Chinese text. The page lays out the title, author when included in a built-in selection, and poem text as guided character rows, with blank practice rows between source rows. You can turn pinyin on to show pronunciation guides for Chinese characters.
Chinese characters are written as individual symbols rather than alphabetic letters, so a grid helps learners practice each character’s shape and spacing. The optional pinyin line gives a pronunciation cue; it does not translate the poem or explain its meaning.
Choose a writing grid, paper size, portrait or landscape orientation, character font, number of columns, blank rows, and margin or spacing settings. Available paper sizes include A4, A5, B5, and US Letter. You can also add a worksheet title and optional name, class, date, or score fields in the header.
The poem layout recognizes punctuation and clause breaks when arranging text. Longer text can continue across multiple pages, and the number of rows that fit depends on the chosen paper, orientation, margins, cell size, and pinyin display. Preview the page after changing settings to check that the writing cells suit the learner.
Guide
Follow the workflow and verify inputs and outputs with practical examples.
Choose one of the included classical poems, or switch to custom entry and provide a title and Chinese text. Text should contain the Chinese characters you want to practice.
Choose paper size and orientation, a grid style and font, then adjust columns per row and the number of blank rows. Enable pinyin if pronunciation cues are useful.
Check the title, character sequence, row breaks, and page count. Reduce columns or change orientation if a line feels too crowded.
Generate the worksheet before using the available print or export controls. The tool can prepare image, PDF, or Word output after generation.
Use cases
See how the tool fits into real work and everyday tasks.
A teacher can select a familiar poem, add class details in the header, and print rows for students to copy and review character forms.
A learner or family can choose a short poem, enable pinyin for pronunciation support, and leave blank rows for repeated handwriting practice.
Paste a short Chinese text with a title, choose a grid and page size, then inspect the generated line breaks before printing or exporting.

Notes
Review scope, result limitations, and important precautions before use.
Pinyin is generated as a reading aid and can be ambiguous for characters with multiple readings; review pronunciations for instructional use. Custom text is arranged for practice, not proofread or translated. Confirm the preview and printer scaling before distributing copies, especially when using non-default paper sizes or long poems.
