Is your mouse suddenly experiencing unresponsive buttons, a lagging scroll wheel, or a dead middle click? Our Mouse Tester captures mouse events in real-time through your browser. It tests the press and release states of the left, right, and middle (scroll wheel) buttons online. It also tracks the number and direction of scroll wheel movements, providing instant feedback via a visual interface to help you quickly diagnose hardware faults in any part of your mouse.
The test results only reflect the mouse events received by your current browser and may be influenced by your operating system or driver settings. All tests are performed entirely locally within your browser; no keystroke data is recorded or uploaded. If multiple buttons are pressed simultaneously, the page will only display standard behavior (usually reflecting one button at a time). Leaving the browser idle for a long time may cause it to enter power-saving mode, so we recommend keeping the page active during testing.
Before testing your mouse, we recommend ruling out driver-level interference: verify that your mouse driver is functioning normally in the Device Manager, and try using different USB ports to compare results. For gaming mice or devices with custom side buttons, this tool can only detect the standard left, middle, right buttons, and the scroll wheel; side buttons may not be correctly recognized by the browser. If you need to test macro keys or DPI functions, please use the manufacturer's dedicated software. For routine troubleshooting, you can use this alongside a keyboard tester to quickly locate faults across your entire set of input devices.
