Struggling to find the right regular script (Kaishu) practice sheets? This tool allows you to generate professional, printable regular script practice sheets with a single click. Our online generator automatically formats your custom text into standard Chinese calligraphy grids. By adjusting the font size, grid style, and layout, you can export print-ready PDFs or images, providing beginners and calligraphy enthusiasts with highly personalized practice materials.
To ensure optimal layout quality, we recommend generating no more than 500 characters at a time. The generated practice sheets are for practice purposes only, and font copyrights belong to their respective original designers. If you need to generate bulk practice sheets for a class, please do so in multiple batches or contact us for a bulk processing solution. The generated PDF files contain an invisible watermark to identify the source, which will not affect printing or usage.
For calligraphy beginners, we recommend starting with basic strokes and the 100 most common characters, using the Mizi grid (rice grid) to help master character structure. For advanced practice, try classic poems or prose excerpts using the Tianzi grid (field grid), which is better suited for whole-character practice. Teachers can generate uniformly formatted sheets for classroom use. Typical example: Enter "永和九年,岁在癸丑,暮春之初" to generate an excerpt from the Preface to the Poems Collected from the Orchid Pavilion, setting the grid size to 1.5cm, using a Mizi grid, and selecting a vertical layout.
