This generator lays out one of its built-in classical Chinese passages or text you provide as a character-by-character handwriting practice sheet. The preview lets you inspect line breaks and page count before exporting or printing. The page is designed for copying and handwriting practice: it does not teach the meaning of a passage, animate stroke order, or evaluate a learner’s writing.
Choose a grid to set the visual guides around each character. Tianzi (field) grids divide a square with a central cross; mizi (rice) grids add diagonal guides; Jiugong and Huigong styles use different internal divisions. Plain squares provide a simpler boundary, while no-grid layout removes those guides. Available choices also include a combined rice-and-concentric-square grid.
Paper size, orientation, margins, cell size, row spacing, and characters per row work together. A longer passage or larger cells can increase the page count. Optional pinyin, blank practice rows, and a page header add reference or writing space.

Choose a grid and font. Turn on pinyin if you want a pronunciation prompt above the character cells.
Set the paper size and orientation, then adjust columns, cell size, row spacing, margins, and blank practice rows. Add a worksheet title or header fields if useful.
Review the preview’s character count, source lines, and page count. Change spacing or paper settings if the layout is too dense.
Generate the downloadable sheet, then choose PNG, PDF, Word, or the print flow offered on the page.
The grid cell size can be set from 10 to 22 mm, columns from 6 to 18, row spacing from 1 to 10 mm, margins from 6 to 28 mm, and blank rows from 0 to 5. The final number of columns may be reduced to fit the selected page width.

The output is a static handwriting layout. It does not verify the historical accuracy of supplied text, explain vocabulary, show animated stroke order, or score handwriting. Built-in and custom passage wording should be checked against the edition or class material you intend to follow. Printer scaling, margins, and paper selection can change the physical size of the cells; review print settings and a sample page when exact dimensions matter. Very long passages create more pages and may take longer to preview or export.
