When you only need 3 key pages from a 200-page PDF, this tool can precisely extract the specified pages without breaking the original layout. PDF page extraction refers to separating specific page numbers or ranges from a complete PDF document to generate a new PDF file containing only the target pages, while preserving the original document's formatting, hyperlinks, and bookmark structure.
Will the extracted PDF retain hyperlinks?
Yes, as long as the "Keep Formatting" option is checked, all clickable elements will be fully preserved.
How do I extract multiple non-consecutive pages?
Use commas to separate page numbers or ranges. For example, entering 2,5-7,9 will extract page 2, pages 5 through 7, and page 9.
Please ensure the entered page numbers do not exceed the actual number of pages in the document. Encrypted PDFs must have their password protection removed first. For batch processing, we recommend doing it in stages. When extracting medical or legal documents, be sure to check the validity of signatures.
When processing academic literature, we recommend using this tool to extract the reference pages before converting formats. A typical scenario: extracting the DOI number page (usually page 2) and the conclusion pages (usually the last 2-3 pages) from a 300-page paper. Example input range: 2,298-300.
