This online screen recorder asks the browser to open its screen-sharing picker. Choose the display surface you want to record, then start and stop the recording from the page. The result can be previewed and downloaded. The picker and operating system control which sources are available; the recorder cannot silently choose a screen for you.
Optional controls request system audio and microphone audio. System audio depends on the browser, operating system, selected source, and whether audio sharing is enabled in the browser’s picker. Microphone capture is a separate permission. A checked system-audio option is a request, not a guarantee that an audio track will be present.
Choose source resolution or a preset from 720p through 4K, and select 15, 24, 30, or 60 frames per second. These settings express the requested capture dimensions and frame rate. The actual stream may differ because the shared screen, browser, and device determine what can be delivered. Selecting a higher resolution does not add detail that is absent from the source, and higher settings can take more processing and storage.
The recorder selects a supported recording type when available, typically WebM or MP4, then shows the actual format with the result. Browser and operating-system support varies, so use the displayed result format when deciding where to play or edit the file. A recording’s duration and size also depend on activity, chosen settings, and device resources.

Choose the requested resolution and frame rate. Leave a setting at its default if you are unsure; the capture source and device may constrain the actual result.
Turn system audio on if you want to request audio from the shared source. Enable microphone only if you want narration, then respond to the browser’s permission prompt.
Start recording and select the screen, window, or tab in the browser’s sharing picker. If the picker offers an audio-sharing option, enable it when appropriate.
Stop recording when finished. Review the preview, duration, file size, selected frame rate, and actual format, then download the file.
If capture is blocked, check that the page is open in a browser that supports screen capture and that you granted the required permissions. For missing system sound, start again and check the sharing picker’s audio option as well as operating-system support.
