Have you ever needed to show an action in reverse or create a special visual effect? Our Reverse Video Tool achieves a precise, frame-by-frame backward playback effect by reordering the sequence of video frames. A video is essentially a sequence of continuous frames (e.g., 30fps means 30 images per second). Our tool rearranges the frame array [Frame₁, Frame₂, ..., Frameₙ] into [Frameₙ, Frameₙ₋₁, ..., Frame₁]. Simultaneously, it performs byte-level reverse resampling on the audio PCM data, ultimately outputting a reversed video in standard MP4 format.
Q: Will reversing the video reduce its quality?
No. We use lossless frame recombination technology to maintain the original resolution.
Q: How do I process 4K videos?
We support resolutions up to 4096×2160, but we recommend using 1080p or lower for faster processing speeds.
Please note: DRM-protected encrypted videos are not supported. Input files must use standard H.264/H.265 encoding. Processing larger files may take more time.
For creative professionals, we recommend trying to reverse short clips of 3-5 seconds to produce stunning visual effects. For example, reversing a video of splashing water creates a magical scene where water droplets seemingly return to the surface. This technique is widely used in music video production and visual effects design.
