This browser recorder can capture a display surface that you choose in the browserâs sharing prompt. You can set a target resolution of 1080p, 1440p, or 2160p and a frame rate of 30 or 60 frames per second. These are requested settings; the actual capture depends on the browser, device, and selected source.
Optional controls add a webcam picture-in-picture overlay, system or shared audio, and microphone narration. You can pause, resume, and stop a recording, set an optional maximum duration, then preview, download, or delete clips from the current session. Separate recordings remain available in the results area until you leave or refresh the session.
You can choose to prefer MP4, but the browserâs supported recording formats determine the actual file type. If the selected browser does not support a requested format, the recorder falls back to another supported type, commonly WebM. Check the downloaded file extension before importing it into an editor or sharing it with someone who needs a particular format.

Choose a resolution and frame rate. Lower settings can be easier on a device and produce smaller files, though the actual result depends on the captured display.
Turn on the camera overlay, microphone, and system audio only as needed. Choose a corner for the webcam picture-in-picture and set a maximum duration if you want recording to stop automatically.
Start recording and use the browser prompt to select the screen, window, or tab. Grant the requested sharing and device permissions; audio may require an available source and an explicit choice in the prompt.
Pause and resume if needed, then stop. Preview the clip in the results section, download it, or remove it before starting another take.
If camera access is unavailable, the screen capture can continue without the optional webcam. If the recording has no audio, check the sharing choice for shared audio and confirm microphone permission separately.
A 2160p/60 setting does not guarantee that every computer or browser can deliver that quality. A tab recording may offer different audio options than a window or entire-display selection. Make a short test recording first, then confirm legibility, sound, frame rate, and the downloaded format before capturing a long demonstration.
