Patients with cardiovascular diseases often overlook the combined risk of multiple indicators. This tool calculates the coronary heart disease (CHD) risk index and outputs a risk assessment based on clinical parameters such as age, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, and high-density lipoprotein (HDL). The CHD index is a quantitative indicator that comprehensively reflects cardiovascular health risks, used for the initial screening of potential disease likelihood.
The age input range is 18-100 years, blood pressure must be ≥90 mmHg, and cholesterol and HDL must fall within standard medical testing ranges. The results do not replace professional medical diagnoses. Sensitive data is processed locally and is not stored. Batch assessments require multiple independent operations.
Clinical validation shows that the risk increases significantly when total cholesterol is >5.2 mmol/L and HDL is <1.0 mmol/L. Typical input example: A 50-year-old patient with a systolic blood pressure of 120 mmHg, total cholesterol of 5.0 mmol/L, and HDL of 1.5 mmol/L corresponds to a moderate risk level. We recommend testing regularly and tracking trend changes.
