Finding ready-to-use data is often harder than it should be.
Information available online is not always easy to use in bulk. Downloaded files may have encoding issues, inconsistent fields, or missing documentation. Historical market data may be scattered across dozens of pages. When you start building an application, report, research paper, data analysis, or AI project, much of your time can disappear into finding data, converting formats, and cleaning fields.
Today, the Toolkk Dataset Marketplace is officially live.
Our initial release includes 18 datasets, approximately 59.07 million records, and 249 data files totaling about 4.6 GB. They cover common use cases such as financial market data, administrative divisions, map boundaries, global cities and airports, public holidays, postal codes, and macroeconomic indicators.
Our goal is not to create another simple “file download page.” We turn fragmented information into well-organized data products with previews, field documentation, and flexible download options.
What can you do with the Dataset Marketplace?
1. Preview real data before downloading
Every published dataset includes a sample preview. Open its details page to inspect real records and verify that the fields, content, and format meet your needs before downloading anything.
This solves a familiar problem: a filename looks promising, but after downloading it, you discover that the fields or level of detail are wrong—or that the data is not usable without extensive cleanup.
2. Review the data dictionary at a glance
Each data file shows its name, format, size, and record count, along with a data dictionary describing field names, definitions, and data types.
For example, daily financial market data may include the security code, security name, trading date, open, high, low, close, volume, and turnover. Geographic datasets may include administrative codes, coordinates, and region types. You can understand the columns before writing code or importing the file into a database.
3. Download large datasets by year or file
Many historical market datasets span 10, 20, or even more than 30 years. If you only need a specific period, there is no reason to download the entire archive.
Toolkk divides large datasets, including financial market history, into separate annual files. You can switch between years on the same dataset page and download only what your project requires, reducing download size and simplifying downstream processing.
4. Get cleaned data in practical formats
Our datasets are primarily available in widely supported formats such as CSV, XLSX, and GeoJSON, ready for use with:
- Excel, WPS Office, and pivot tables;
- Python, pandas, R, and Jupyter Notebook;
- Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse;
- Visualization tools such as ECharts, Mapbox, and Leaflet;
- Machine learning, quantitative backtesting, and AI data pipelines.

5. Choose from free, member-only, and per-file options
Because preparation costs and update schedules vary by dataset, several access options are available:
- Free files can be downloaded after signing in;
- Member-only datasets are available with an active membership;
- Large historical market datasets can be purchased by year or file using Jiang Coins;
- Samples and field information are available for every dataset before download.

Which datasets are available now?
Our first 18 datasets are organized below by use case. Select any dataset name to view its details, fields, and sample records.
1. Historical financial market data
Financial data is currently the largest category in the marketplace, with 10 datasets. Most use a standardized daily price structure suitable for quantitative research, strategy backtesting, finance education, academic analysis, data visualization, and machine learning feature engineering.
1. Mainland China A-Share Daily Prices (1990—2026)
Mainland China A-Share Daily Prices covers A-share companies listed on the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges, including the main boards, ChiNext, the STAR Market, and the Beijing Stock Exchange. It currently contains approximately 16.64 million records.
Files are organized by year and are suitable for individual stock analysis, market-wide screening, factor research, and quantitative strategy backtesting.
2. Mainland China A-Share Index Daily Prices (1990—2026)
Mainland China A-Share Index Daily Prices contains historical data for major indexes across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets, including widely used broad-market and market-specific indexes. It currently contains approximately 510,000 records.
Use it to analyze overall market trends, index correlations, volatility, market-timing strategies, and benchmark returns.
3. Shanghai and Shenzhen Fund Daily Prices (2005—2026)
Shanghai and Shenzhen Fund Daily Prices covers exchange-listed funds, including ETFs and LOFs, with approximately 2.33 million records.
It is suitable for historical fund performance analysis, ETF rotation strategies, asset allocation research, and fund market dashboards.
4. Shanghai and Shenzhen Bond Daily Prices (2006—2026)
Shanghai and Shenzhen Bond Daily Prices contains historical daily data for exchange-listed bonds, including government bonds, corporate bonds, and convertible bonds. It currently includes approximately 420,000 records.
Use it for bond trend research, convertible bond analysis, fixed-income education, and multi-asset portfolio backtesting.
5. China Futures Daily Prices (2010—2026)
China Futures Daily Prices covers six major exchanges: the Shanghai Futures Exchange, Dalian Commodity Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, China Financial Futures Exchange, Guangzhou Futures Exchange, and Shanghai International Energy Exchange. It currently contains approximately 320,000 records.
It is suitable for commodity futures research, cross-asset correlation analysis, trend-following strategies, and quantitative futures backtesting.
6. Hong Kong Stocks and Indexes Daily Prices (2000—2026)
Hong Kong Stocks and Indexes Daily Prices contains historical data for Hong Kong-listed stocks and major market indexes, with approximately 8.87 million records.
Use it for Hong Kong stock research, Hang Seng index analysis, cross-market comparisons, and historical market visualizations.
7. US Stock Daily Prices (2000—2026)
US Stock Daily Prices covers companies listed on US exchanges such as the NYSE and NASDAQ. With approximately 29.58 million records, it is currently our largest dataset by record count.
It is suitable for US equity backtesting, industry research, stock screening, market statistics, and machine learning training.
8. Forex Daily Rates (1999—2026)
Forex Daily Rates contains 127 major currency pairs, including EUR/USD, USD/JPY, and AUD/CAD, with approximately 80,000 records.
Use it for exchange-rate trend analysis, currency-pair correlations, volatility research, and forex strategy backtesting.
9. Cryptocurrency Daily Prices (2020—2026)
Cryptocurrency Daily Prices contains historical daily market data for major digital assets such as BTC and ETH, with approximately 55,000 records.
It is suitable for crypto market trend analysis, cross-asset comparisons, volatility research, and strategy validation.
10. Global Index, Crude Oil, and Gold Daily Prices (2020—2026)
Global Index, Crude Oil, and Gold Daily Prices contains spot and futures market data for major global indexes, crude oil, gold, and related assets. It currently includes approximately 50,000 records.
Use it to analyze relationships across global markets, study correlations between equity indexes and commodities, and backtest multi-asset strategies.
2. Administrative divisions and geographic reference data
These datasets are useful for address standardization, map development, regional analysis, logistics, and travel products. They can also serve as reference tables in business systems.
11. China Administrative Division Codes (2026-04)
China Administrative Division Codes contains codes and hierarchical names for four administrative levels: provinces, prefecture-level cities, counties and districts, and townships or subdistricts. It currently includes 42,876 records.
Use it for linked region selectors, address normalization, administrative code mapping, regional aggregation, and business database initialization.
12. China Administrative Boundaries GeoJSON (2026-04)
China Administrative Boundaries GeoJSON contains province-, city-, and county-level boundaries across China, with 3,660 MultiPolygon features.
It is suitable for administrative maps, choropleth maps, and regional heat maps built with ECharts, Mapbox, or Leaflet. It can also support point-in-region lookup and spatial analysis.
13. China Postal Code Database
China Postal Code Database contains approximately 2,300 county-level postal codes for mainland China, including postal code, place name, province, city, county or district, latitude, and longitude.
Use it for postal code and location lookup, address validation, shipping forms, and map positioning. It can also be combined with the China Administrative Division Codes dataset.
14. Global Country Codes Database
Global Country Codes Database covers 250 countries and territories, with ISO 3166 alpha-2 and alpha-3 codes, numeric codes, currency codes, international calling codes, capitals, regions, and geographic center coordinates.
It is suitable for country selectors in international products, currency and calling-code mapping, country-name standardization, and regional data modeling for global operations.
15. Global Airport Codes Database
Global Airport Codes Database contains more than 85,000 airports and landing facilities worldwide, including IATA three-letter codes, ICAO four-letter codes, facility type, name, country, city, coordinates, and elevation.
Use it for travel products, airport search, logistics analysis, route visualization, and airport code mapping.
16. Global Cities Database
Global Cities Database contains more than 33,000 cities worldwide with populations of at least 15,000. Fields include city name, country and administrative codes, population, coordinates, and time zone.
It is suitable for city selectors and autocomplete, map labels, population geography analysis, time-zone conversion, and nearest-city matching.
3. Public calendars and macroeconomic data
17. China Public Holidays and Adjusted Workdays (2007—2026)
China Public Holidays and Adjusted Workdays is compiled from annual holiday notices issued by the General Office of the State Council. It includes dates, holiday names, holiday or adjusted-workday status, and day-of-week information.
Use it for business-day calculations, attendance and shift scheduling, payment date adjustments, booking systems, e-commerce marketing calendars, and holiday logic in applications.
18. Annual GDP by Country (1960 onward)
Annual GDP by Country is sourced from World Bank open data and organized in a long-table “country × year” format. It contains current-US-dollar GDP figures for countries and territories worldwide from 1960 onward.
It is suitable for comparing economies, ranking countries, visualizing growth trends, macroeconomic research, education, and academic analysis. Please follow the CC-BY 4.0 attribution requirements listed on the dataset details page.

Each dataset details page lists its sources, license, and last updated date. Publicly available data may still have usage conditions. Some datasets are in the public domain, while others use licenses such as MIT or CC-BY 4.0. Follow the applicable terms when using or redistributing the data, including any source citation and attribution requirements.
Financial markets, administrative divisions, and public information can change over time. For high-stakes use cases such as trading decisions, legal compliance, or production address validation, verify the data against authoritative sources.
