When you need to extract highlights from a long video, this tool provides millisecond-accurate trimming processed locally in your browser. Powered by the FFmpeg WebAssembly engine, it directly parses PTS timestamps to align with keyframes, ensuring precise start and end times without offset. It processes standard video container formats (duration in HH:MM:SS or seconds) and outputs H.264 encoded MP4 clips.
Q: Why is there a slight deviation between my set time and the actual output?
A: Videos use keyframe compression technology. The tool automatically aligns to the nearest I-frame, so deviations are typically less than 0.5 seconds.
Q: Can I trim HEVC videos shot on my phone?
A: Yes, iOS MOV formats (HEVC encoded) are supported, but the output will be transcoded to H.264 to ensure compatibility.
Please ensure the input video is not encrypted and the total duration exceeds 1 second. Safari users should disable "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" for optimal performance. If processing times out or a format error occurs, please refresh the page and try again.
For professional users, we recommend setting the CRF value between 18 and 28 to balance video quality and file size. Typical input: a 2-minute MOV promo video (1920×1080); Output example: a 30-second MP4 clip (same resolution, approx. 15MB). For batch processing needs, you can operate in segments, processing up to 5 time intervals at a time.
