This generator creates vertical-format integer practice problems for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or a mixed selection of enabled operations. You can select a preset number range or enter a custom range, choose how many problems to generate, and pick a two-, three-, or four-column layout. Each generated sheet includes a title area and fields for student name, grade, class, and score. These are printable practice materials; the range settings control the number values used in the generated questions.
Subtraction is arranged so the top value is at least as large as the bottom value, keeping answers nonnegative. Division is generated from a divisor and whole-number quotient, with the dividend formed as their product; therefore the generated division questions divide evenly. Addition and multiplication generate integer operands and calculate their answers for the optional key. Mixed mode selects among the operations enabled in the settings.
Newly generated sheets use random choices. The generator tries to avoid repeating an identical operation and operand pair within one sheet, but a small range or high problem count can leave repeats. A worksheet is a set of questions, not a lesson plan or a grade-level placement assessment.
Turn on the answer option to place answers in the worksheet preview and include a numbered key. Check the preview before printing, especially if you are preparing a student copy. The page offers question and answer text for copying, plus image, PDF, Word, and print options. Paper size affects the exported page shape, while the column setting controls how many problem columns appear in the preview.
