Understand what the tool solves, how it works, and the boundaries of its data.
Enter a mainland China mobile number to request its associated region and carrier record. The result can show an area string, its province and city fields, a carrier field, and a carrier type marked as either a basic carrier or a virtual carrier. These are service-returned record fields; they do not identify the subscriber or establish who is using the number.
“Region” here means the place associated with the number record. It is not a handset’s live position. The lookup does not use GPS and cannot tell where a phone or its owner is now. The original-carrier field is likewise a record value, not a live check of the current subscription.
The area field is returned as a province and city pair and is also separated into individual province and city values for easier reading. A missing value is shown as a dash. The carrier type distinguishes the service’s “basic carrier” and “virtual carrier” labels; it is a classification from the returned record, not a judgment about the caller.
China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology describes number portability as changing the contracted basic telecom operator while keeping the phone number. As a result, a record that names an original carrier cannot confirm the present provider after a number has been ported. For billing, account, or service questions, check directly with the carrier.

Use a mainland China mobile number in the number field. Check the digits before submitting; the form accepts up to 11 characters and requires at least 7 characters to start a query. That input check does not certify that a number is active or valid.
Choose the query action and wait for a successful response. Read the region, province, city, carrier, and carrier-type fields as returned. A dash means that a value was not supplied for that field.
If you need the current contracted provider, account ownership, or service status, use the carrier’s own channel. The lookup is a reference for region and carrier record fields, not an identity or account verification.

The provider’s original data publisher, full coverage, refresh schedule, and retention practices have not been verified, so no completeness, freshness, accuracy-rate, or no-retention claim can be made.
