Overview
Understand what the tool solves, how it works, and the boundaries of its data.
Fill the empty cells so that each row, each column, and each 3×3 box contains the digits 1 through 9 once. The page starts a new puzzle automatically and offers Easy, Medium, and Hard settings. These are the game’s own labels; there is no single standard difficulty scale implied by them.
The board distinguishes the given clues from the cells you can edit. Select an editable cell and enter a digit with the on-screen number buttons or your keyboard. Turn on Notes to pencil candidate digits into an empty cell. The timer records elapsed play, while the mistake counter increases when an entered digit differs from that puzzle’s stored answer. Repeated digits in a row, column, or box are also highlighted as conflicts.
A puzzle is marked complete only when every cell matches the generated answer. The game does not provide hints, explain solving techniques, or check whether a puzzle has a unique solution.
Guide
Follow the workflow and verify inputs and outputs with practical examples.
Use Easy, Medium, or Hard to start a new board. Changing the setting creates a fresh puzzle and resets its timer and mistake count.
Click or tap a cell that is not one of the fixed starting clues. Its row, column, and 3×3 box are highlighted to help you scan the board.
With Notes mode off, enter 1–9 to fill the selected cell. With Notes on, the digit toggles as a small candidate note instead of becoming an answer. Select Erase to clear an editable cell.
Use the timer and mistake counter as progress indicators. When all cells match the puzzle’s answer, the completion message appears with your elapsed time and mistakes.
On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to move the selection, number keys to enter digits, and Backspace or Delete to erase an editable cell.
Use cases
See how the tool fits into real work and everyday tasks.
Start an Easy puzzle for a short logic exercise, use candidate notes where several digits remain possible, and stop when you need to return to another task.
A learner can use the highlighted row, column, and box to practice checking where a digit can fit before entering it, then review the mistake counter for answer mismatches.
Because the game does not explain a move or reveal a hint, use a separate learning resource if you want step-by-step solving instruction.
Q&A
Find concise answers to common questions and confusing cases.
Each row, column, and 3×3 box must contain the digits 1 through 9 without repeats.
It toggles small candidate digits in an empty editable cell. Notes are personal reminders and are not treated as filled answers.
The counter increases when you enter a digit that differs from the puzzle’s stored answer. A visually valid digit can still be marked wrong if it is not the answer assigned to that cell.
No. The game provides conflict and answer-mismatch highlighting, but no solving hints. Easy, Medium, and Hard are this game’s settings and should not be compared as standardized ratings with other Sudoku games.
Notes
Review scope, result limitations, and important precautions before use.
This is a casual puzzle game, not an instructional solver. The mistake count and conflict highlighting are feedback for this board only; they are not a measure of general Sudoku skill. Starting another difficulty or a new game replaces the current board and resets the displayed progress.
