Tool Introduction

"Short Link Statistics" is a powerful online tool designed to help users efficiently query and analyze short link access data. By entering the specified short link, original link, and query time range, this tool can accurately count the total access times of the short link within the given period (accumulating access behaviors from the same IP) and the number of unique IP accesses (counting the same IP only once). This is an indispensable data analysis tool for marketers, content creators, or anyone who wants to understand the spread effect of links.

How to Use

  1. In the "Short Link" input box, enter the short link address for which you need to query statistics, for example: https://t.cn/xxxxxx.
  2. In the "Original Link" input box, enter the original full link address corresponding to the short link, for example: https://www.example.com/long-article-url.
  3. In the "Start Time" input box, select or enter the start date and time you wish to query, typically in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss, for example: 2023-10-01 00:00:00.
  4. In the "End Time" input box, select or enter the end date and time you wish to query, in the same format as the start time, for example: 2023-10-31 23:59:59.
  5. After confirming the information is correct, click the submit button, and the tool will display the statistics for the short link within the specified time range.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: What input formats are supported?
  • A: Short links and original links require complete URL strings. Start and end times are typically in standard date-time format, such as "YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss" or "YYYY-MM-DD".
  • Q: What is the output format?
  • A: The output results are displayed in a list format, including two data points for the specified short link: "Count, same IP accumulated" and "IP Count, same IP counted once".
  • Q: What happens if the short link or original link does not match?
  • A: Please ensure that the entered short link and original link are mutually matched and correct, otherwise the tool may not be able to query valid data or may return an error message.
  • Q: Are there any time range restrictions?
  • A: The start time must be earlier than or equal to the end time. If the time range is set unreasonably, valid statistical data cannot be obtained.

Important Notes

  • Please ensure that the short link you enter and its corresponding original link are accurate, correct, and mutually related, as this is the basis for obtaining accurate statistical data.
  • The format of the start time and end time must strictly adhere to system requirements to ensure the correctness of the date and time, avoiding query failures due to format errors.
  • If the query result shows "--", it usually means that no access records for the short link were found within the time period you specified.
  • The "Count" calculated by this tool is an accumulation of all access behaviors, including multiple accesses from the same IP; while "IP Count" is a deduplicated count based on unique IP addresses, which better reflects the actual number of users.
