Overview
Understand what the tool solves, how it works, and the boundaries of its data.
Choose one local PDF to open a browser preview and inspect page count, file size, and available document information such as title, author, subject, creator, producer, and dates. These fields come from metadata stored in the PDF and may be absent. Copy a summary, open the PDF in a separate tab, print through the browser, download the original, or clear the preview.
The file is read from your current browser session. A local object URL can refer to a selected file for embedded display; viewing and navigation depend on browser PDF support.
Enter a page number to jump. Choose automatic fit, fit to width, or fit to page for comfortable reading or a full-page view. The page number means physical PDF page order, which may differ from numbers printed in the footer.
Guide
Follow the workflow and verify inputs and outputs with practical examples.
Click the file area or drop one PDF. The viewer reads its page count and available metadata. The baseline guest file limit is 5 MB; the control may allow a different limit for some account levels.
Enter a page number or navigate in the preview. Use fit to width for wide pages and fit to page for the whole layout.
Review filename, size, total pages, current page, and available metadata. Copy the summary for a quick review record.
Open a separate tab, print through the browser dialog, or download the selected original. Confirm print range and layout in the dialog.
Use cases
See how the tool fits into real work and everyday tasks.
Jump to a known PDF page, choose a fit mode for a table or whole page, and include filename and page position in review feedback.
Copy available details into an inventory. Treat metadata as document-provided information, not independent proof of authorship.
Q&A
Find concise answers to common questions and confusing cases.
No. Printing and downloading use the selected original; the viewer does not edit its contents.
PDF support varies by browser. Try a new tab or a browser with PDF viewing enabled.
Metadata fields are optional. A missing title, author, or date does not mean the PDF is invalid.
No. The selection is session-based; choose the file again after refreshing or closing the page.
Notes
Review scope, result limitations, and important precautions before use.
The viewer reads the selected file in the current browser session; its workflow does not upload the PDF for server processing. Browser preview, printing, and navigation can differ. Password-protected, malformed, or large files may not yield all metadata even if a browser displays them.
Metadata can be absent, outdated, or entered by editing software; it does not verify identity, origin, signature, or truth. When those facts matter, inspect the document and confirm through a trusted channel. For print or page references, distinguish physical page order from printed labels.
