When China Railcom broadband users experience slow page loads or DNS hijacking, matching with the right local DNS server is crucial. This tool provides a complete IPv4 database of official China Railcom (Tietong) public DNS servers. Each entry includes the IP range (Start IP to End IP) and its corresponding physical location at the provincial and city levels. The tabular format helps users quickly locate the optimal DNS node for faster resolution.
How do I verify if a China Railcom DNS IP is working?
Open Command Prompt (cmd) and run "ping [Target IP]". A normal response time should be under 50ms.
Why are the Start IP and End IP the same for some DNS entries?
This indicates that only a single DNS server is deployed in that region. These addresses are typically provincial primary nodes.
It is recommended to prioritize DNS nodes within your own city (e.g., Guangzhou users should choose 211.98.4.1). After changing your DNS, remember to flush your local DNS cache (using "ipconfig /flushdns"). Enterprise users should verify connectivity in a test environment first.
Typical configuration example: A user in Shaanxi can set their primary DNS to 61.232.202.158 and use 211.98.4.1 as a secondary DNS for disaster recovery. Note that China Railcom DNS does not support DoH/DoT encryption protocols. For sensitive operations, it is recommended to use a VPN.
