When you need to process a large volume of phone number location data, manual lookups are inefficient and prone to errors. This tool uses the phone prefix database published by Chinese telecommunications authorities to bulk parse the first 7 digits (prefix) of mobile numbers, identifying their registered location, carrier (China Mobile/China Unicom/China Telecom), and network type (2G/3G/4G).
What does "Carrier Type" in the results mean?
Direct Answer: It indicates the communication technology type originally assigned to that number prefix (e.g., 4G-LTE).
Detailed Explanation: Although entire networks have been upgraded, this field still reflects the initial business attributes of the number, which is valuable for risk control modeling.
Can virtual network operators (170/171 prefixes) be accurately queried?
This tool is based on official prefix data and can identify virtual operator brands. However, their actual operating region may differ from the prefix's registered location. We recommend combining this with other verification methods.
Only supports mainland China mobile numbers starting with 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19. We recommend deduplicating numbers before batch processing. The result data is for reference only and is not suitable for legal evidence.
For risk control scenarios, we recommend cross-verifying the location data with IP geolocation. Typical input/output example: Inputting "13912345678" returns {"Province":"Guangdong","City":"Shenzhen","Carrier":"China Mobile","Type":"4G"}. Note that newer prefixes like 198/199 may have slight deviations in city-level attribution.
