In fast-paced work environments, the small fonts and static displays of traditional clocks make it difficult to quickly track time. The flip clock uses digital card-flipping animation technology to display hours, minutes, and seconds in large digits with a mechanical flip effect. It automatically updates every second based on your device's system time. The minimum time unit is 1 second, and the flip animation lasts approximately 300 milliseconds.
Q: Does the flip clock consume a lot of battery?
No. This tool only uses basic DOM animations, keeping CPU usage below 5%.
Q: How can I keep the clock screen on during a conference room projection?
We recommend disabling your device's sleep settings. Chrome users can enable the "#enable-temporary-unlock" experimental feature to prevent screen locking.
Time accuracy depends on your device's system clock. Press the ESC key to exit full-screen mode. For prolonged use, we recommend turning on your system's blue light filter.
As a time management tool, we recommend using it with the Pomodoro Technique: place the clock at a 30° angle in your field of vision and observe the time flow every 25 minutes. Typical display example: the flip process from 14:05:36 to 14:05:37 includes a 0.3-second upward scrolling animation of the digits.
