Stuck with city-level IP geolocation when tracking suspicious network access or analyzing user demographics? Our tool elevates location accuracy to the street level by integrating ISP cell tower data with WGS84/BD09 coordinate conversion technology. An IP address acts as the digital ID of internet-connected devices (32-bit for IPv4, 128-bit for IPv6). By querying telecom-grade geographic databases in real time, this tool outputs a comprehensive profile including the street name, ISP branch locations, and precise latitude/longitude coordinates (with support for switching between WGS84 and Baidu coordinate systems).
Why does IP geolocation sometimes show a data center?
Commercial IPs used by cloud servers or VPNs are registered to server rooms. These addresses will return the data center's location rather than the actual user's physical location.
How can I improve location accuracy for mobile devices?
When querying 4G/5G addresses, we recommend selecting "Area Mode." The system will use cell tower triangulation to provide a probable range within a 300-meter radius.
Geolocation results for dynamic IPs may experience a 6 to 24-hour delay. When querying enterprise dedicated line IPs, the result often shows the company's registered address rather than the actual office location. Please do not use these results for strict legal or forensic evidence.
For scenarios like e-commerce risk control, we recommend combining IP geolocation with device fingerprinting. For example, if an IP is detected at "XX Road, Zhangjiang Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai" but the device's GPS shows an overseas location, proxy fraud may be involved. A typical enterprise dedicated line IP query result looks like: "China Telecom Shanghai Branch - Pudong Zhangjiang Data Center (690 Bibo Road)."
