How do I enter a hexadecimal ASCII code?
Simply enter it with a 0x prefix (e.g., 0x41), and the system will automatically recognize it as hexadecimal.
Why do Chinese characters cause conversion errors?
The ASCII code only supports 128 basic characters (0-127). Chinese characters fall under the Unicode encoding range. We recommend using a dedicated encoding converter for non-ASCII characters.
This tool only supports the standard ASCII character set (0-127). When entering numerical values, be sure to use the 0x (hexadecimal) or 0b (binary) prefix to specify the base type; otherwise, it will be treated as decimal.
When debugging HTTP protocol headers or binary files, hexadecimal ASCII code lookups are commonly used for control characters (such as 0x0D for carriage return, and 0x0A for line feed).
