How to Use
Switch between tabs above to calculate pace, time, or distance. At least two values are required.
Select 'Half Marathon' or 'Full Marathon' to auto-fill official distances.
All calculations are performed locally in your browser; no data is uploaded.
In running training, accurately tracking your pace is key to improving performance. By entering your total running distance (in kilometers or miles) and total completion time (hours, minutes, seconds), the pace calculator automatically determines your average pace (time required per kilometer/mile) and average speed. This helps runners intuitively understand their running speed and provides a quantitative reference for marathons and daily training.
Ensure the entered time format is correct. For example, 1:30:00 represents 1 hour and 30 minutes; if you only want to enter minutes, you can input 0:90:00. The results are for reference only, as actual running pace is affected by terrain, wind speed, and other factors. This free online tool does not store any of your data.
For marathon training, we recommend using the pace calculator to set a target finish time and work backward to find your target pace per kilometer or mile, then adjust based on your actual training. For example, for a target full marathon time of 3:30:00 and a distance of 42.195 km, the average pace is approximately 4:58 min/km. You can use this pace to guide your long-distance runs.
