When you need to quickly enter or verify ID card information, manual data entry is both time-consuming and prone to errors. This tool utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to automatically extract structured data from ID cards. ID card OCR refers to the process of converting text information from ID card images into editable text data through image analysis technology, covering 18 standard fields including name, ID number, and address.
What are the image requirements for ID card OCR?
Images must be clear, unblurred, glare-free, and include all four edges of the ID card. A resolution of 300 dpi or higher is recommended.
Can the recognition results be used directly for legal authentication?
No. This tool is only intended to assist with data entry. Final verification must rely on the original official document.
Do not upload blurred, cropped, or glaring ID card images. Avoid transmitting sensitive information over public networks. The recognition results are for reference only and hold no legal validity.
To improve the recognition rate, we recommend: 1) Keeping the ID card flat when taking the photo; 2) Avoiding strong light reflections; 3) Ensuring all fields are clearly visible. Typical recognition example: Input a clear photo of the front of an ID card → Output structured text "Name: John Doe | Gender: Male | Ethnicity: Han | Birth: 1990-01-01 | Address: Haidian District, Beijing...".
