Check if a domain is banned or de-indexed by Google. Ideal for webmasters and SEO professionals.
When your website suddenly disappears from Google search results or experiences a sharp drop in rankings, your domain might be banned. This tool quickly determines whether your site has received a manual penalty or algorithmic downgrade by analyzing its status in the Google index. A "banned status" means Google has completely or partially removed the domain from its index, usually due to violations of the Google Search Essentials (formerly Webmaster Guidelines).
How can I tell if a domain is truly banned?
A banned domain will return 0 results when searching "site:domain" on Google. Our tool uses this characteristic to determine the status.
What if the check shows normal but my traffic has dropped?
This could be ranking volatility caused by algorithm updates. We recommend checking your performance reports in Google Search Console for core update impacts. Some bans take up to 24 hours to reflect in the index, so we suggest rechecking the next day.
Test results may have a 12-24 hour delay. For major penalties, always refer to notifications in Google Search Console. Please wait at least 2 hours between consecutive checks, as frequent requests may trigger Google's anti-bot protection mechanisms.
Typical ban scenario: When the tool displays "Banned" and there is a "Manual actions" report in Search Console, you must fix the issues as instructed and submit a reconsideration request. Example test: Entering "spam-example.com" should return a red banned tag due to malicious redirect behavior.
