When you need to change image dimensions but worry about losing quality, this tool uses smart interpolation algorithms to recalculate pixel distribution, achieving true lossless scaling. Lossless image scaling is the process of adjusting the pixel dimensions or proportionally resizing bitmaps (like PNG and JPG) without introducing compression artifacts or blurriness. It allows you to input specific width and height pixel values or a scaling ratio, outputting a new image that retains its original sharpness.
Q: Does lossless scaling really not reduce image quality?
A: Yes. The tool uses advanced interpolation algorithms for pixel resampling, avoiding the blurriness and distortion caused by standard resizing. Within a reasonable scaling range (0.5x to 2x recommended), it maintains the original image quality.
Q: Does it support batch processing multiple images?
A: Currently, it only supports processing a single image at a time. Batch uploading is not supported.
Only PNG and JPG formats are supported, and file sizes must be under 5MB. We recommend a scaling ratio between 0.5 and 2.0; exceeding this may affect the results. If you set both width and height without checking "Keep Aspect Ratio," the image will be distorted.
For users requiring high-fidelity scaling, we recommend prioritizing ratio scaling (e.g., 1.5x magnification). This maintains image proportions and sharpness better than directly specifying pixel dimensions. Typical example: scaling a 1000x500 JPG image by 1.8x will output a high-definition 1800x900 image.
